I wanted to download all that was in my camera before this afternoon's client meeting, so here's another sempervivum photo, complete with rain drops--teeny rain drops, as this is a macro shot.

Beautiful. Funny how the photo/flower conveys heat and cold at the same time.

Is the cold you perceive coming from the color of the rocks, do you think? In certain lights, those stones look gray. In others, they're more blue-hued.

I promise, those aren't ice flowers...not in Virginia in July. *g*
